On Thursday, March 23 Long Cane Primary School hosted a Title I Math & Science Night. Each grade level had various math and science related stations including hands-on activities focused on measurement, there was a math walk throughout the building that invited families to solve math problems, Ms. MJ with Clemson Extension did a science experiment with strawberries that demonstrated DNA extraction, and families were served light refreshments. To end the evening, our second graders performed a musical production entitled What Time Is It? that followed Grandpa Ramey and John William through the decades. A huge thank you to all those who played a part in making the evening a success and to all our families who joined us!
